Returns Policy | The House of Rags
All sales are final due to the nature of the products. However, we value your satisfaction and understand if you need to request a refund or return. While we strive to send products in perfect condition, damages may occur. Below you will find our return/refund policy and information about replacing defective items.
MISSING, DEFECTIVE, OR DAMAGED ITEMS:
• We will send replacements for products damaged in transit or if the incorrect item was shipped.
• Please call us at 1-800-686-9259 or email us at support@thehouseofrags.com within 10 Days of your order date with your order number and a photo of the contents you received.
Upon receiving your email, we will promptly address your request to ensure your replacement is shipped out. If a replacement item is not in stock, a refund will be issued.
IMPORTANT: STOLEN ITEMS AFTER SHIPMENT
- The House of Rags is not responsible for stolen goods once they have been shipped and marked as delivered by the carrier.
- Any claims for stolen items must be filed directly with the carrier (e.g., UPS). We recommend contacting them promptly to resolve stolen item claims.
RETURNS & REFUNDS:
No returns on chemicals and hard goods returns only for manufacturer defect, such as pads, towels, etc. and are subject to approval by The House of Rags customer service team. Please call us at 800-686-9259 or email us at support@thehouseofrags.com with your order number and a photo of the item you are requesting the return for. Products may be returned for a full refund only under the following conditions:
• Product(s) are returned within 5 days of the delivery date.
• Product(s) are in new condition (unused and/or unwashed).
• Product(s) are in their original packaging. If the product has been opened or removed from its original packaging, we will be unable to provide a full refund.
• Customers are responsible for costs associated with return shipping.
• If you would like The House of Rags to provide you with a pre-paid return label to help facilitate the return process, we are happy to do so in most situations. Please note, return shipping fees will be deducted from the total refund amount when the product(s) arrives and the refund is processed.
Changes and Cancellations.
Cancellations or changes to order may be requested through our customer support team. We cannot guarantee changes after an order is placed. Cancellations must be requested before 1:00pm CST the day the order is placed (excluding weekends, weekend order cancelations requests may be submitted up to 1pm CST the following Monday), after 1:00pm CST you cannot cancel an order.

All sales final. There are no returns on opened or used tools. If you purchased the tool from one of our distributors, please contact them for their return policy. 1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty: 1 year (from date of purchase) manufacturer’s warranty covers manufacturing defects or failure of the tool. Normal wear and tear with normal maintenance or abuse is not covered. Please email us the following information to support@thehouseofrags.com for warranty claims.
- Original order number.
- Issue you are having with the tool.
- How often the tool has been used and how it’s been used.
- How has the tool been maintained.
- Photos of the issue (as much as possible). We will review the information provided and confirm if the issue is under warranty. If the damage is deemed under warranty, we will provide you with a shipping label to send the tool to our repair facility. Please allow 2-4 weeks for repairs and shipping.
